Frequently Asked Questions
How do I care for my new crystal?
Rubbing a polishing cloth on your gemstones will do the trick. Avoid water on soft stones. Water can damage or even dissolve softer stones like angelite, some calcites, howlite, azurite, malachite, and selenite. We recommend always taking your jewelry off before you swim, sleep, or shower. Taking good care of your jewelry will help it last for years to come.
How do I keep my metals clean?
Copper: Over time, metal jewelry may lose its shine due to a natural process called oxidation. To keep your pieces looking new, rub the metals with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Cleaning your copper jewelry regularly will also prevent it from leaving a green mark on your skin.
Silver: However, the easiest and most affordable method is to use a polishing cloth. Every order includes a reusable natural cotton fiber polishing cloth. It's non-toxic, eco-friendly, and free of chemicals and abrasives. You can use it on metals, watches, electronics, utensils, and more. Please note that the cloth is not washable.
What if my necklace breaks over time?
Crystals are strong, but sometimes they break. Broken crystals can still be used for healing in their "new form," but I will not replace broken crystals. Wire-wrapped cages are secure but can break with too much manipulation. If your wire experiences breakage, I will offer a fix! Repairs will be evaluated with an appropriate cost to fix and ship. I cannot guarantee the new wrap will be identical to the original, since it is an ever-changing flow.
What materials do you use?
Every necklace is made with genuine gemstones and great intention. I use antique bronze wire, antique copper wire, copper wire, and most recently I use solid sterling silver wire. I have unique descriptions for each piece in my shop.
Where do you get your crystals?
The majority come all the way from India, but I do go crystal shop hopping locally.
Do you do custom orders?
I do not do custom wire wraps, every wrap is unique. But if there is a stone you're looking for let me know!
